Tiivistelmä:A classical handling system (input/output) in a warehouse includes conveyors of different types. In designing a transportation system, one specific problem is the calculation of optimal capacity. Warehouse input and output systems consist of many material flows which cross, join and divide, and make a complex network. The joining, dividing and crossing points are critical. Generally, the material flow of a system often has a clear stochastic nature and finding the optimal capacity and minimal queue length, is difficult. The paper deals with these problems.
