| Tiivistelmä: | This paper begins with the fundamental constructs of Petri net models. It then proposes extensions that help make Petri nets useful for modelling manufacturing systems. It also shows how validating methods can be used to examine these systems for potential problems. Examples are presented to show how one might use this approach to determine the performance and validate the logic of a manufacturing system. |
