Typically, in the blink of an eye a financial report reader can absorb the good news from a soaring graph showing company profits rising sharply. But although it would take considerably longer, even for someone with a practiced eye, to absorb the same information from a column of numbers, few accountants harness the power of graphics to illustrate the message behind their numbers. |
