| Tiivistelmä: | According to statistics, from 1978 to 1992, the total accumulated import and export volume of the whole province reached USD 12.702 billion, 9.2 times the figure before 1978. Its main exports were clothing, ceramics, knitting and cotton textiles. The basic countermeasures in developing import trade in Hunan province are 1. expanding properly the scope of imports while at the same time keeping the overall balance between imports and exports; 2. adopting resource-shifted balance model instead of the present import one, that is, importing the goods whose resources are short in Hunan or whose cost in production is higher than the world's; 3. Strengthening examination in management and raising the quality of imports. |
