| Tiivistelmä: | This paper examines the extent to which bankrupt S&Ls systematically mispriced their mortgage products during the 1980s by comparing the coupon rates paid by home mortgage borrowers at failing or failed S&Ls during the 1980s against the coupon rates paid by home mortgage borrowers at solvent S&Ls. Two types of tests are presented: a differences in means test and a Goldfeld and Quandt (1976) switching regression test. |
