| Tiivistelmä: | With the recent creation of the World Trade Organization (WTO) by GATT negotiators during the Uruguay Round, many associations world-wide have become interested in what role non-governmental organizations (NGOs) will play in the new international trade body. As the WTO has a well-known institutional primogenitor - the International Trade Organization (ITO) - it is perhaps useful to look at what role NGOs expected to play in the ITO. |
