| Tiivistelmä: | China's total import and export volume made up over 45% of GNP in 1994. In a sense, the dependent degree of foreign trade has already reached a certain limit. Especially on export, near one fourth of products in China were used as exports and most of them were final consumer goods, which no doubt played a role of "adding fuel to the flames" to the rising inflation without sign of falling. So from the long- term interests of China's foreign trade, its development should enter the period of structural adjustment rather than seek high growth blindly. |
