| Tiivistelmä: | The important issues need to be studied and settled during the Ninth Five-Year Plan are as follows: (1) Strengthening market mechanism and perfecting macro control system should be pushed forward in a coordinated way; (2) While actively promoting the publicly-owned economic development, China should continue to encourage individual, private and foreign-funded economic development; (3) The state-owned enterprises should start with the settlement of realistic issues in their reform and accelerate the establishment of modern enterprise system; (4) A new social security system needs to be set up; (5) The development in the western and the back ward areas should be promoted and accelerated. |
