| Tiivistelmä: | Introducing successful organizational governance into companies calls for the most professional approach to the performance of tasks entrusted to the Boards of Directors in companies.In order to ensure such an approach in the soonest possible time, we should follow the example of best solutions in developed countries.The author is of the opinion that the establishment of permanent Board Committees, and of Audit Committees in particular, can contribute to swifter development of organizational governance.The article gives some characteristic findings about the work of Audit Committees in the English speaking world which should serve as an example for Slovenia. |
