| Tiivistelmä: | Even though the concept of business restructuring or reorganization has been around for a long time, the tools for implementing drastic changes have become available only recently. To use these tools effectively, information systems should be developed accordingly. Conventional information systems development methodologies are not appropriate to the new information technology and business environment. In this article, data- and cross-functional orientations are explained as primary approaches in system development for implementing BPR. |
