| Tiivistelmä: | Changes in the foreign trade regime of the former Soviet Union (FSU) started with the end of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance (CMEA) in January 1991. They took a decisive step in November of the same year, with the signature of a Presidential Decree on foreign trade liberalization. Since then , foreign trade reforms have gone through different stages. These changes, together with an improved access of Russian goods to Western markets, are having a considerable impact on the pattern of the international division of labour. |
