| Tiivistelmä: | Experts in the field of organization, hut other experts and people in everyday's life too, do not use the same Slovenian word which would explain the content and spirit of the English management. The consequences are the problems of communicational nature.Still worse, different words are also the consequence of misunderstanding of management, which adds to the confusion in naming and in understanding of this important organizational function.Author discusses the adequacy of most used Slovenian words in the sense of management.His findings are that some of the used words have other meaning already (governance, leadership); some other words emphasise only a part of managerial function; some others are foreign words or domestic deformed words.He suggests as most proper the word "ravnanje".His arguments are the following: it has been used in Slovenian language in the history until 1950; it is well settled in Slovenian linguistics and in Slovenian literature; it is used by some authors; it is suitable to be used in different connections and situations. |
