| Tiivistelmä: | Reform and opening-up have boosted development of power industry so that China has become the biggest producing country of coal and the third biggest one of electricity. China's development of sources of energy has to undergo two radical changes, which means exploitation must be coupled with economize to which primary importance is to be attached. Both domestic and foreign resources should be utilized, domestic resources being primary. Construction of sources of energy must center around electricity, and base itself on coal. Exploration and exploitation of oil and natural gas must be improved. Active efforts are to be made to develop new energy and regenerative energy. The consumption structure of energy must be improved to ensure coordinated development of energy and the national economy |
