These five major American companies once again dominated this year's Review 200, our annual survey of corporate leadership. Indeed, last year's top five returned as this year's top five -- in exactly the same order. Perhaps that's not surprising in the light of our definition of corporate leadership: to be a leader, a company cannot be a niche player that is known and well-regarded by the few it serves. Instead, it must be recognized for its achievements and leadership qualities by a broad range of people. |
