Tiivistelmä: | The idea that customer and competitive orientations have a positive influence on profitability is implicit in the marketing concept. This study empirically investigates the influence of customer and competitive orientations on business performance. There are 4 latent dimensions underlying customer and competitive orientations: basic market orientation, competitive benchmarking, customization and international orientation. Managers could use this concept to assess strengths and weaknesses and in long term planning. |
