| Tiivistelmä: | The investment of Taiwan's businessmen in the mainland is the need of establishing "the Asian and the Pacific Operational Center" in Taiwan and the need of solving the problems encountered by Taiwan in its current economic development. The trends of Taiwan's businessmen's investment in the mainland are as follows: 1. The focus of investment will be shifted from labor-intensive industries to capital and technology intensive ones. In terms of industrial division of work, the vertical one will be transferred into horizontal one. 2. The early operational model featuring individual investment will be replaced by the grouping operational one. 3. The scale of investment will expand continuously and long-term investment will be stressed increasingly. |
