As far as China concerned, merger is an effective way to attract foreign funds and solve the way-out of corporate shares and state shares. However the purchase and merger will certainly affect stock prices and cause their sharp fluctuation: So we should take the following measures in management: 1. formulating "Law on Purchase and Merger of Corporations" to standardize the behavior 2. combining purchase and merger with the establishment of modern enterprise system, 3. supporting the intermediary institutions for merger. |
