Tiivistelmä:More and more companies today face adaptive challenges: changes in societies, markets, and technology are forcing them to clarify their values, develop new strategies, and learn new ways of operating. And their leader's most important job is mobilizing people to do adaptive work. Yet many senior executives find the task difficult. In this article the authors argue that old expectations have to be unlearned: rather than providing answers, leaders must ask tough questions. Solutions to adaptive challenges reside not in the executive suite but in the collective intelligence of employees at all levels.
