| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper the authors study the routeing decision at split junctions in directed, acyclic networks with finite buffers, which are useful in modelling flowshops. Flowshops with finite waiting spaces are commonly encountered in industry. Several optimization problems exist in such flowshops and many of these have been addressed by modelling them as open queuing networks. They examine this optimla routeing problem in steady state as opposed to a real time scheduling or dispatching situation. |
