| Tiivistelmä: | A vast expanse of area, unique geographical environment and rich energy and mineral resources provide favourable conditions for the Northwest China's economic prosperity. However, the abnormal fragile ecological environment and the extremely backward communications and transportation restrict its economic development. So taking the road of sustainable development is this area's only choice for its development. The key tasks at the present stage are to save the base of heavy industry, develop with great efforts highway communications and SCI-tech and education as well, give publicity to environmental protection, strengthen the government's functions to create conditions for the North- west China's economy's embarking on the orbit of good cycle. |
