Tiivistelmä: | Continuous improvement (CI) may not be as fashionable as reengineering, but it is a low-cost way to improve quality and productivity, if one gets past the six critical milestones: management's role; CI team organization; initial projects; line leader's dilemma; sawtooth effect; dynamic routines. Housekeeping and workplace organization are perhaps the most trivial or least glamorous aspects of CI, but they can be crucial to a firm's survival. Continuous improvement means different things to different companies. |
