| Tiivistelmä: | The Southeast Asian financial crisis is attributed to the following: the improper measures for introducing foreign investment, too many short-term loans, irrational foreign debt investment structure and low efficiency in use of foreign capital. In view of the above, China should pay attention to the following in absorbing foreign investment in the future: 1. creating conditions for absorbing foreign investment and improving investment environment; 2. guiding foreign investment and adjustment economic and industrial structures conscientiously; 3. raising efficiency in use of foreign capital by strengthening digestion, absorption and innovation of introduced technology; 4. establishing financial risk prevention mechanism. |
