| Tiivistelmä: | The following changes will take place in China's economy in the future: 1. The contradiction in quality will be transformed to the principal contradiction of economic development; 2. China's economy will continue to grow rapidly but present a smoothly decelerating trend; 3. The essential change will take place in industrial structure; 4. The modern informationalization of the national economy will take the lead; 5. The multi-level consumption demand structure will promote the progressive upgrading of multi-level industrial structure; 6. The scale of traditional heavy industry will reach its peak in the year 2030 and production be dominated by large-sized enterprises; 7. Because of high demand for knowledge competition in employment will become more intense. Pillar industries will gradually turn to being technology-intensive from 1996-2010. |
