| Tiivistelmä: | In 1997, the total output of China's glue fiber products amounted to 45 ten thousand tons. China then had become the leading power of the glue fiber production in the world, the proportion in Asia rising from 2% of the 1980s to the 27% of the 1990s. However, the equipment of most glue fiber business is old fashioned, the technology is backward and products are short of market competivity. For current, the glue staple industry is encountering greater difficulties than ever, quite a serious problem, while the long silk market essentially remains a stable status of supply and demand and the price will not flutuate greatly. In the long run, although the prospects for our national glue fiber industry is rather optimistic, the current bearish market can not be neglected. |
