| Tiivistelmä: | Four basic facts about investment goods and investment prices are documented here: 1) Investment has very significant nontradable component in the form of construction services. 2) Distributions services (wholesaling, retailing and transportation) are much less important for investment than for consumption. 3) The important content of investment is much larger that that of consumption. 4) In the aftermath of three large devaluations, the rate of exchange rate pass-through is highest for imported equipment and lowest for construction services. |
