| Tiivistelmä: | This article studies the effects of total quality management (TQM) practises, and intensity of market competition on organizational performance. The data is from Australian manufacturing companies and it is analysed using a multiple regression technique. The results indicate that the higher the intensity of market competition, the more positive the relationship between the TQM practises of customer focus and product design, and organizational performance. |
