Tiivistelmä:Organizational commitment and job satisfaction are especially important to companies because they have a clear effect on organizational performance and they can be influenced by human resource policies and practices. The article considers the linkages between job satisfaction and organizational commitment and evaluates the gains of using the bivariate probit model in this connection. The bivariate model, which is used for the first time in this context in this article, helps to understand the connections between the mentioned employee attitudes and HR. The results of the analysis are compared to the more traditional binomial probit approach and new viewpoints are presented.
