| Tiivistelmä: | The change of business leadership and entrepreneurship in Russia during the transition of the country since 1992 is illustrated in the article with variety of examples, from the transformation of a traditional Soviet-era biscuit factory to new Russian high-tech enterprises that are applying Western business practices. The authors consider the organization and leadership practices in Russia and they have named the perceivable emerging Russian leadership style as “Global Russian”. The article both analyzes the past and tries to foresee the future; the author seek to provide lessons on leadership to leaders in Russia and also those who will be doing business with Russian companies. |
