| Tiivistelmä: | This paper studies interest rate risk management (hereafter as: i-r-r-mgmt.) providing insight into the i-r-r-mgmt. practices of large Finnish non-financial companies (here as: comps). It is shown that most large comps. take a systematic approach to i-r-r-mgmt. but the risk assessment is largely concentrated on the financial position of the company. A model is also suggested on the factors affecting the approach taken by a company towards i-r-r-mgmt. |
