| Tiivistelmä: | Research typically presumes the price-quality-link to improve over time a proposition that this journal confirmed earlier. However, it is found in this study that the aforementioned link is deteriorated. This finding is based on data provided by Stiftung Warentest (similar to the U.S. Consumer Reports) from 1999 to 2002. As a result, it can be asked: Does the price no longer possess any ability to signal quality in the new millennium? (original in German) |
