| Tiivistelmä: | The consideration of the organizational environment is one of the core steps in all strategic management processes. A methodology for scanning that environment is presented from the perspective of perceived environmental uncertainty. To that end, the Rasch model is applied, and dimensions of dynamism and complexity are considered latent variables defined by a set of items. The results show for example that the methodology also enables managers and institutions to identify the most uncertain perceived items. |
