| Tiivistelmä: | Various water trading programs have been developed to deal with water shortage problems. This paper presents an optimization model based on the interval-parameter two-stage stochastic program (TPS) technique for quantifying the effectiveness of water-trading under uncertainty. The methodology was tested with a hypothetical water trading program in selected farmlands in Canada, and the results indicate that this methodology could help facilitate reducing the risks of establishing a water trading program. |
