| Tiivistelmä: | Using recent ethical misconduct in business as a starting point, this article explores what motivates leaders to violate ethical and legal standards. Two frameworks are presented. The first model assesses leadership competencies while the other concentrates on leadership effectiveness. Key factors affecting ethical decision-making at an individual level are identified. Then, the results are applied to leadership recruitment and evaluation processes. |
