| Tiivistelmä: | This paper deals with the issue of job mobility of managers in venture capital firms. The purporse of the article is to find out how the job mobility of managers between venture capital firms changes the ways these firms are connected to one another. In the study a continous-time Markow chain model is employed to test whether UK-based venture capital firms gain or lose syndication links when their senior investment managers move between employing firms. The results of the study suggest that mobile managers don't drag interorganisational networks, and hence no significant syndication links are gained. |
