| Tiivistelmä: | The study was undertaken in an East Texas City, where the primary tourist attraction is the Caldwell Zoo. The goal was to find out the influence of the supplementary attractions and their roles in adding to the city's cumulative attraction. The survey consisted 1559 zoo visitors. The results revealed that the compatibility between the zoo and other attractions was high, tourist who travelled more than 60 miles spent more than those travelling less than 60 miles. The increase in expenditures was positively correlated with the number of attractions visited. But changed into a negative correlation when the number of attractions totalled five or more. Also the number of additional attractions to visit decreased as the distance travelled increased. |
