| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims to propose a suitable knowledge management (KM) system, proposing an approach for KM system development to ensure a fit btw. the organizational needs during new product development (NPD) and KM initiatives. Soft system methodology (SSM) has been adopted to design this framework. A list of knowledge sharing (KS) methods are identified, which help in intra-level or inter-level flow of knowledge (as: f-of-knwl). The proposed framework highlights the hierarchal nature and bi-directional f-of-knwl. Furthermore, it is found that there are two additional key enablers to effective KM system, namely, competency and infrastructure. |
