| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims at identifying a set of critical success factors (here as: s-fcts.) ensuring the effectiveness of knowledge management (KM) initiatives, with a focus especially on the effect of people-oriented s-fcts. Based on a comprehensive review of KM literature, affirmed by 10 qualitative interviews with leading KM academics and industrial representatives in the construction industry, it is suggested that organizations need to consider several key areas, particularly the processes and practices undertaken to understand and define KM. etc. |
