| Tiivistelmä: | This study's focus is on the analysis of the influence of organizational design variables on the creation of knowledge (henceforth as: knwl.) within the firm. Considered and explored is the role that mechanisms of integration and coordination play in the creation of knwl., considering enablers as intermediate variables. Based on a sample of 167 large Spanish firms, created is a model of the relationships btw. the variables, contrasting them with a quantitative empirical investigation. The results suggest that the relation is not significant. However, all the other coordination mechanisms have a significant influence on the creation of knwl. |
