| Tiivistelmä: | The national general management consulting firms,the functionally specialized firms that operate in strategy consulting are examined,and trends affecting the future of the industry are explored. Strategy consultants have much to offer a top executive in terms of improving the bottom line. However,executives must make a realistic assessment of their strength and limitations. The consultants' views must be weighed against executives' sound business judgement,their industry knowledge and the cultures of the organizations. The implementation of strategy is at least as important as,and frequently more difficult than the formulation of strategy. |
