| Tiivistelmä: | Though the use of programmable robots in production systems promisingly changes a company, must we conclude that the introduction of new technologies necessarily renders its planning system very rigid? The authors are not of this opinion and emphasize the initiative left to managers in an automated firm and the very importance of their choices concerning technological and human resources. Conclusions are drawn from technology on automated production in 85 companies. |
