| Tiivistelmä: | A flexible method to test for multiproduct oligopolistic models and estimate relevance of entry conditions on industrial conduct. The authors find multiproduct oligopolistic interactions were present in the Uruguayan banking sector in the late 1970s, but partial relaxation of legal entry barriers substantially removed the multiproduct nature of these interactions. Equations and two Tables are given. The two appendixes give date description, and hypothesis test statistic. |
