| Tiivistelmä: | The manager of the software development process is faced with the dilemma of selecting appropriate tools to fit the particular development situation. Although tool utilization has been studied and correlated with descriptive variables such as budget and length of existence of organizations, little attempt has been made to determine the effectiveness of these tools in regard to productivity enhancement. Conclusion is that there is still a need for tools that increase the productivity of the systems analysis, design, and maintenance. |
