| Tiivistelmä: | Many companies would like to distribute their products to an international marketplace. Financing, however may be a problem. There are presented four ways to overcome this problem: forfaiting; international factoring; export-import bank; and exporter-owned insurance. These four methods of financing exports are among the best available. The one most suitable for a company depends on the nature of the company, the type of product the company exports, the frequency with which the company exports, and other factors. Forfaiting may be difficult to arrange in financially weak countries. Factoring is suitable for exporters that sell relatively small amounts of goods. The other two methods provide retrocession protection. |
