| Tiivistelmä: | Top and middle management can play an expanded role in developing and implementing strategy. Strategy should be kept clear, simple, and specific. Strategy and operations are related dimensions. Both are essential for success, and they must be integrated. Converting strategy to critical issues and building them into the routine of management is of vital importance. Strategy should guide the day-to-day decision-making actions. Finally, vision must become integral to the ecology of the organization, such as culture, structure, systems, and a variety of control and adjustment mechanisms. |
