| Tiivistelmä: | In 1986 the German Economic Association decided to implement a forced purchase of its journal under its editorship. At the same time it increased membership fees. The authors feel that an economic analysis of this decision is very important. The analysis shows that this tie-in sale decision does not increase the journal's reputation and it only transfers consumers to the commercial publisher. |
