| Tiivistelmä: | With flexible automated production the human being has to undertake more and more control and supervisory functions. It is shown how automation of work processes affects product design, plant planning and management of facilities. Technological progress is connected with several new requirements for personnel training and further development of work force. As a consequence, employees and employers have to make common efforts in seeking and implementing new concepts of work organization. Changes in competency regarding skills, methods, cooperation, communication, and the underlying attitudes and values are examined. |
