| Tiivistelmä: | Changes in interest rates are a risk for savings banks which has a large impact on their profitability. Different is the case of fix-interest deals and flexible interest deals. One can insure oneself against the risk of change in interest rates, but this entails cost. The savings bank can consciously shape its interest rates, but only with parallel changes in other terms of the deal. |
