| Tiivistelmä: | UNESCO's Mass Media Declaration was adopted 10 years ago. It is a direct consequence of the New International Information and Communication Order NIICO. After heated debates, the U.S. was ready to bargain in 1978, but even today substantial disagreement exists among media professionals.However many countries hope, most of the tasks set out in the Declaration can be realized in the forthcoming years. |
