| Tiivistelmä: | Service industries are different from a management point of view from production. Although we know this, we have no exact data on the phenomenon. The article presents the results of a survey among FRG physicians on the importance of several management factors (e. g. technical outfitting, manners, age, knowledge of the physician and the nurses, working hours etc.). These factors are correlated with turnover, capital intensity and growth. Information needs in areas such as personnel management, accounting, computers, organisation, financing, insurance etc. are also rated on a four level scale. |
