| Tiivistelmä: | Some extracts from a project for logistic order processing are presented. This project, with the aid of value analysis, has led to an integrated and computer-supported solution. The crucial point is the dynamic minimum stock planning of finished goods and the subsequent capacity planning. The preliminaries of the project are reviewed. The project implementation phase is examined in detail. The prototyping character of the computer-supported analysis is emphasized. It is shown how the logistics function of the company has been developed. The information system of the inventory control is characterized in its relation to the all-embracing computer integrated manufacturing. |
